Where the Wild Things Are

There is a very long interview with Spike Jonze and Eric Zumbrunnen here about a movie they have been working on called Where the Wild Things Are. This could be very good because I think Spike Jonze can be trusted with material as sensitive as this, there is almost no CGI, and there is no green screen. The film's majority is shot on location in Melbourne. All of the wild things are costumes/puppets. The faces will be animated using computers, but this work will be done by the people who animated the baby in Children of Men, which successfully fooled me. Some test footage was leaked a while ago. The costume and the actor in the video is only a test, and not representitive of how the actual finished film will look, but I love it nevertheless.
